How do you like you AI sol Nano?
i'm considering doing a 18x18x16h tank using the ai sol nano. haven't seen it in action but saw the big brother AI Sol on a 10 gallon (i think it was 10g). the question i have is i do not want to be restricted from keeping sps and don't know if the coverage of the AI nano will be enough to cover the entire 18"cube tank and not limit me to keeping sps. I would also like to know if the sps will grow and look unnatural because the light beam is so small. i like the asthetics of the AI nano better than big brother over a small open top tank. so if anyone who have a AI sol nano over your tank could you let me know if you like the spread of the light.

I'm currently running the Nano on a similar tank (18" x 18" x 10"). My tank is AIO, so the last 4" are for the overflow, etc. Honestly, I don't think you'll get the whole 18" coverage you're looking for with the standard light mount thats included. You'll definitely need to raise the light much higher. Once thats done, I'm confident cover would no longer be a problem. Regarding SPS and LED's: there are plenty of threads to research discussing this topic. Me personally, I'm not a fan. My tank is mainly LPS with mostly high end Z's & P's and the AI nano is doing a fantastic job. HTH!
