What size pipes and pump for a nano refugium?

I'm starting a 1.5gal refugium for my 12g aquapod and I'm wondering what size pipes and return pump to use? The refugium is 3ft below from top to top and will be siphon fed, anybody have an idea?

Actually that's one of the things I need help figuring out. I'm assuming it would have to be around 200gph for such a small tank but I'm not sure. I have a mj900 laying around, would that work?

I use a cobalt mj 600 on biocube 14 and get plenty of turnover.

Nice, what size refugium do you have and what diameter tube or pipes do you use? How do you get your water to the refugium? With a siphon drain or did you drill a bulkhead into your biocube. Thanks

I have an aquapod 12 custom set with a 20 gal fuge that i have lying around. I used the hydor pico 260 for the return and the stock pump for the overflow. 1/2" vinyl tubing sends water from the DT to the fuge and vice versa. I would say that 1.5 gal would be a little small and would recommend using at least 5 gal to receive any benefits. I can post some pictures tomorrow to show/explain the set-up.
