Apex Help-Network connection

Hey All,
Im pretty computer savy and I'm having a few questions connecting my apex to my in home network. I guess the question I have is more related to the router than to the apex itself but I figured a post couldn't hurt.

My apex unit is connected via ethernet cable directly into my router. The router I'm using is an ASUS router flashed with dd-wrt. Now I believe from what I've read in the manual (which isn't much to be honest ) is that I need to assign a static IP (I want mobile connectivity) and allow port forwarding for the IP thats been generated and set the port to 80.

How do I do that with this router and the dd-wrt software. How do you do that in general? Thanks for the help!

Joel
