Goniopora Help
hello guys i am here yet again to ask for your help
lets get to the point already so i have 2 goniopora and the first one i got purple and on the tips it has a neon green coloration and the other one is Neon green in coloration and the first one i got have turned to brown and all you can see is the shade of neon green if you look above the water and the other one is starting to turn brown also ive read somewhere over the internet that if its turning brown the zoosomethilae(lol i dont know the exact name) is comming back and giving it a happy and healthy life i want to know some inputs about this thank you very much |

It could be the returning zooxanthellae. This causes most corals that were previously bleached to sometime become duller. Also too much nutirents in the tank can cause a over production of zooxanthellae causing corals to turn more brown then they normally would in a low nutrient or ultra low nutrient situation.
I would say the best way to monitor their health like most corals is polyp extension, and if there is any noticeable tissue growth or recession. Color can vary in many corals from one tank to another.

My goniopora is growing new polyps under and on the area where no polyps existed can anyone help me identify what is happening to my gonio and how will i return it to its original color thank you guys

What are you using to light the tank?
What kind of light were they under when they were last seen with the correct color?

I think they are under t5's at my LFS, i use power compact lights is my light insufficient for this coral? I really need some inputs its 1 daylight and 1 actinic 10000k
