Fuzzy Brown Rocks

So I've had my tank setup since last September - going on its 8th month - and I'm having a problem with my rocks. They look like they're "soft" rocks now because of all the brown fuzzy stuff growing on it.

It does NOT have any defined structure like a typical algae. It's roughly 2-5mm deep over all the rock surface and slightly translucent. I can use a turkey baster and blow most of it off, but it will be back the next day. Sometimes it forms in strings, but nothing usually grows on the corals. I had a pretty significant Cyano problem, but it cleared up two months ago.

Here is a link to what I was seeing BEFORE. Now it's much clearer and gunkier looking. Any idea what it is? Plus treatment options are always welcome.

How long has this been going on?

Are you using RODI water for topoff? What are you feeding?
