Have a really noobish question. I need to know if Im feeding enough and of the right stuff. I have one of each at this time Coral reef beauty, false clown and a blue damsel. What do i need to be feeding these guys.
Right now we are feedign a 1/4 cube of mysis a day. |

The more variety you can provide the better. Adding some New Life Spectrum pellets to their diet along with some spirulina flakes would be a good start. If your LFS sells live blackworms, you might want to feed those every now & then.

1/4 cube could be fine. do you have a cuc? if the area under your fish's fins looks indented, then they are too skinny - not a scientific way to tell, but it's an indicator.

no cuc yet, but getting some turbos and nass snails this weekend. Had a shrimp but he kicked the bucket yesterday. Thats what has me asking questions about feeding. Is there something speacial I should have done with him (shrimp)? I can see that the fish eat, but what about the CUC. Algae and detiris enough for them?? Thanks again!
Also th fish look good no dents....im always scared to feed to much!! |
