Hello. Need Help with MH ballast

Hello. I have a friends dual PFO MH ballast that has two switches that individually run each light. One of the switches is broke and I was wandering if it would be possible to wire both switches to one so that the good switch would run both bulbs or would this overload the switch. Thanks

Depends on the amp rating of the switch, but it shouldn't be an issue. I tossed my old PFO dual ballast a few months back so I can't help with a replacement switch. The switch will have an amperage rating on it, I would really be surprised if it wasn't at least a 10-15 amp switch.
