Oceans Motions
Hello RC community,
I have used Oceans Motions actuators in the past but now have a faulty part that is now leaking. I am curious to know if anyone has used other comparable manufacturers. The reason I am asking is because Oceans Motions is now out of business due to the owners health. Any input would be greatly appreciated |

what part is leaking?
and i believe on their website, they said they are contracting some parts out and will help support those that have their devices. have you contacted them? i think they listed an email.

It's the plate inbetween the motor and flow diverter. The plate fails on a regular basis (yearly) due to poor design and/or inferior material. I know they are looking for new manufacturers to supply their parts but I don't want to deal with this in the long run. I would prefer to replace the entire unit and be able to get replacement parts more readily.
So if anyone has any insight on alternative manufacturers that would be great. |

If its just the plate, can you take it to a local machine shop and see what they would charge to make it.
But you could always use George Fischer electric ball valves. I've seen this done on larger builds.
