Question Oceans Motions

Hello RC community,

I have used Oceans Motions actuators in the past but now have a faulty part that is now leaking. I am curious to know if anyone has used other comparable manufacturers. The reason I am asking is because Oceans Motions is now out of business due to the owners health. Any input would be greatly appreciated

what part is leaking?
and i believe on their website, they said they are contracting some parts out and will help support those that have their devices. have you contacted them? i think they listed an email.

It's the plate inbetween the motor and flow diverter. The plate fails on a regular basis (yearly) due to poor design and/or inferior material. I know they are looking for new manufacturers to supply their parts but I don't want to deal with this in the long run. I would prefer to replace the entire unit and be able to get replacement parts more readily.

So if anyone has any insight on alternative manufacturers that would be great.

If its just the plate, can you take it to a local machine shop and see what they would charge to make it.

But you could always use George Fischer electric ball valves. I've seen this done on larger builds.
