I feel like a total idiot, please help!

I feel like a total idiot. I have just completed a 300g in wall set up. I have always doses kalk and never used a reef octopus calcium reactor. I got it set up today and apparently I opened the CO2 tank too much and blew the top off my calcium reactor. It seems it simply came loose at the seams, it did not break the cylinder. It appears I can reattach the top of the reactor, but what should I attach it with? Any suggestions?
