Need help with my Shopping List
First hello and thank you for all the threads and support, this website is fantastic! You members are the best and I am hoping to share my hobby with you and in turn you will help me with great advice.
I would like to stock SPS coral at some point but I knew being a Noob not to over do anything and take things slow. I would also like a few fish. I am thinking RSM 130D or 250 / Possibly JBJ / Possibly Oceanic 120 Tech I would like to keep: 2 Onx Clowns 1 Humu Humu Trigger Clean up Crew and something bright for my daughter to enjoy What should I buy and from where do you all prefer? I have been looking at MarineDepot often seems like they are fair with pricing and stock options. |

I would be looking for something other than the trigger if you want inverts. there are to many varaiables to tell you what to get. look at some other peoples builbs and decide what things you need and research. somethings others have you don't ness. need and there are so many diff. brands of stuff to say get this and that.
marine depot is a great place to deal with, I also like bulk reef supply, fosters and smith and premium aquatics depending on what I need.

A calcium reactor is to supplement calcium to stony coral. It has nothing to do with clean up crews. Cleanup crews are to break down the waste into a size your corals can handle. The best CUC for sps is bristleworms and a few snails, esp nassarius---on nassarius, 2 snails per 50 gallons.
There's a short guide to set up in the stickies up above, that gets specific about equipment.
