Pterois antennata in a reef?
Pterois antennata (lion fish) top out at 7" I think. They are messy eaters, so sps might not be an option. But could this lion fish be ok in a reef? The tank is a 225.
Also, can they be kept with a tang and other common reef fish? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lionfish are fine in a reef, as long as you keep in mind that they will try to eat any fish small enough to fit in their mouth (and some not small enough). They will also often go after shrimp, crabs, and other small crustaceans.
