Storing Live Rock??

Hello all, new to the reef/saltwater thing so i have prolly a stupid question.

Im going to pick up a running 125gallon salt water system in the morning. Full system is currently up and running.

Now my question for u is:

Is it possible for me to store approx 200lbs of live rock in a 55 gallon trash can for a handfull of days maybe a week at most??

I was hoping i could just transfer all the live rock into the container filled with the saltwater out of the aquarium its coming out of. Add a couple powerheads and heater to keep water movement and temp where it needs to be.

Would this be possible so i can save myself the pain of letting all this live rock (die) and have to cycle the system and deal with all the die off in my tank??

any input from u guys would be quite helpful

as long as the rock is covered in water with some flow and a heater it will stay good.
