Temp to choose on a 450 with a 1HP chiller?

What temperature would you aim for if you had a 1HP chiller on a 450g system (volume after displacement + sump)? This is primarily a SPS reef.

Was thinking aim for 79, but is just an arbitrary number really. The ambient temperature during the hot summer months sticks around 83 in the tank.

Thoughts?

i have a 300 gal system with a 1.5 hp commercial grade chiller. it have it set at 78 but it keeps the tank at 79.1-79.2 range. soon as tank hits 79.3 it comes on and drops to 78.2 in less than 30 sec. i know its an over kill for my setup but my tank is in my garage with a in-wall face inside the house. garage gets 120+ in oklahoma summer.
