heater sizing question

can't remember what I used to have to compare, but looking at ebo jager / eheim and am seeing different specs out there for what I'd expect to be the same heater.

in any case, the display tank is a 46g bow and the sump is 15h that will be about 2/3rds full.

QUESTION - What size heaters do I need if I use just one...or if I double up and use 2 for redundancy?

Thanks!

150w heater should do just fine or maybe 2 50w heaters.

I've seen posts on these boards that say each heater should be able to heat the tank...so would two 100w heaters be the way to go if the basis is one 150 watter?

I'd do 2 x 100w.

measure your sump and make sure it'll fit with the setup you have...
