Best hanging skimmer for a 55 gallon tank.

Hi guys wondering if you could help me find the best suitable aquarium hangin skimmer, I have been reviewing a few such as red sea prism, deltec mce 600 and the bubble magnus nac6, so would like your opinions.

I would appreciate your guidance.

Thanks

Add the Aquamaxx Hob-1 to your list. Its a decent skimmer, well made and very quiet. I have one at the moment, which replaced an SWC Mini Hot.

I do have some microbubble issues, which I am hoping are either attributed to the skimmer being still new or I have an oring in the wrong place (or both) Either way its first cleaning I am going to put the oring in the right place

+ 1 for aquamaxx
I love this skimmer. It's silent and comes all the way apart for easy cleaning. Very high quality, the acrylic is thick.

+1 for an AquaMax HOB. I have mine running for about 7 months now. It is a very good skimmer, IMO...quite, quality, nice and thick housing, and skimming a lot of nasting n stinky stuffs.

Another thing to research is the customer service of the products that you are looking into. Deltec's customer service is not that great. It is hard to get in touch with someone. Coralvue (reef octopus) has great customer service.
