Mp40

I should be receiving my VorTech MP40 today, cannot wait to see it in action! What is the best positioning on the side glass? How far up from the sand bed and should it be centered? It is going on a 5' 120 gallon, saving up for the second one for the other end...

It depends on ur setup your gonna have to play around and see what works best. Sandbed depth and rockwork are factors in placement.

Most of my rock to to the back of the tank so i have mine sitting about mid tank but toward tge front. They are antisynced in reefcrest mode. Running about 60-70%. I have a fine shallow sand bed so this worked best for me. Creates a good undertow without disturbing the sand bed. Once in awhile i see some sand kick up but not catastrophic.

I run mine 8" off the surface on my 75 and about in the center front to back. I get some sand kick up but not much unless i'm going over 70% on reef crest.
