Bubble Magus Skimmer? Anyone ever use one?
I am looking for a new skimmer and due to the sump compartment size and the height of my water level it is looking like the Bubble Magnus BM-NAC9 is the best bet although I can't find much information on them, although the guy at Bulk Reef Supply recommended it.
My sump compartment is 16x12 and water level is 12 1/2". Wanted a Reef Octopus but water level is too high and and no room to raise the skimmer. Any ideas?

I also use the bubble magnus and for the price, it's a good skimmer.

I'm a recent BM skimmer user and I really like the NAC7 cone Skimmer I have! It is rated up to 185g and I have in on my 185. This thing started producing good skim in the first 12 hours! I was space limited at 14" x 10" x 26" high and the NAC7 fit perfect with extra space. I was looking at several Reef Octopus skimmers, but settled on the BM.
Like has been said, it is priced good for the quality and output! You will not find many bad reviews of BM skimmers, at least I didn't. BTW, my sump water level is 10" and it does great. Good Luck!

I have been using a NAC7 for a year, no problems. Produces good skim, no pump issues at all, easy to clean. It's been a good skimmer.
