Ordered a reef octopus xs200 and got a Diablo shipped instead

Are these the same company or something? The skimmer looks like an octopus but the box and skimmer body say dialo. What gives?

No they aren't the same skimmer and you got ripped off

The Diablo is rated at 160 gallons and sells in the $300 range

The XS200 is rated for 200 gallons and sells in the $325 range

Wrong. There is a 200 250 and 350. Even the one you linked says "Diablo" in front of XS200

Doh!! lol, my bad

I need to:
1) start wearing my readers
2) not rely on the first thing that comes up in my search history

The pump and size of the skimmer will tell you if its a 200 or not. Now post some pics of what my kid calls "poopystinks"

Have this skimmer on my 120. The Diablo sticker surprised me as well, the size and pump were all correct. It is a great skimmer! What size tank will it be skimming?
