Another plumbing question...Am I asking for trouble???
I've asked some questions about my plumbing of a 240g cube with 75g sump before, and got some great advice. I need some more advice please!!! I'm going to do the Herbie method on a dual overflow that has 4 holes drilled. 2 holes are 1 1/2" and the other 2 holes are 1". It would be more convenient to have both 1 1/2" be my siphon drains, and the 1" be my emergencies. I realized that this leaves me with smaller emergencies, but this would probably only be a problem if both of the siphons clogged at the same time. My thinking was that if 1 clogged, the 2 emergencies should handle the overflow. Is this a dumb idea?
Return pump will be a Reeflo Snapper split between 2 1" Sea Swirls. I can cut back flow via a gate valve if necessary. Please let me know any thoughts, or if I'm asking for an overflow disaster. Thanks!!!!
