ATI bulbs are better in my testing and experience.

Go with 5 blue plus, 2 purple plus and 1 coral plus. Grab an extra coral plus as well to play with.

I think the aqua blue + is a 12,000k daylight type, not sure tho.Blue plus is a 460nm blue actinic, true actinic is 420nm and is a deep purple color. I think one purple is enough ( not actinic purple ) What kind of color are you looking for ? The blue plus give off a good amount of par actually, so 4 blue+ 3 aqua blue daylights and 1 purple bulb is pretty and gives off enough par for most corals if placed properly.

3 aquablue will wash out colors

I would go with RTparty's reccomendation.

I like it a bit bluer, I run 5 blue+ and 1 purple on my 6 bulb

The 20k look on an 8 bulb would be 6 blue+ 1 purple and 1 Coral +
