Tunze 9011 problems
I believe there is a tunze rep on this site that can help me with my current problem, Roger?
So my tunze 9011 is 2 weeks old and is just not producing foam that rises in my cup. The foam stay down at the water level at the neck . My tank is 4 weeks old and has 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 60 nitrate. Is it normal that this skimmer is not producing any foam that rises and no gunk in the cup? Ps its a 90 gallon tank with 110 lbs of live rock |

There's a forum specifically for Tunze is you scroll waaay town the list, you're going to have much more luck there where yes, Roger does post.
I've got a 9011 on a 90 gallon as well and it's working great but it took awhile to get it zeroed in, the biggest thing is I had to open up the blue air knob waaaay more than the instructions led me to believe is necassary. If your tank is new and you only have a few small fish you're way below the bioload it's designed to handle, that may be why you're not getting foam into the cup, try opening the air valve more. |
