Fish - temp drop triggering breeding?
Hi I am just curious to know are there any fish out there which will trigger their breeding with a temperature drop. In the freshwater side I know it triggers the cory's to breed after a temp drop, but are there any fish like that in marines?
Thanks |

I think most marine fish breed when the temperature is higher (79-83F), and the photoperiod is longer.

oh right, so increase then. That is quite interesting because I just thought about with what is happening now with sea temperatures rising because of global warming. Surely that would confuse the fish which breed during hotter seasons, right?
