Is there a sticky or thread on Hyposalinity?
I was wondering if there is a thread on how to perform hypo, what the salt content should be when performing it, dangers of doing it to a DT, will inverts die? will there be a lot of die off to cause another cycle if done in a DT? I know corals cant handle it but if it were done in a FOWLR how would it effect the tank? Thanks for your help in advance.

hypo is at 1.009-1.011. i am not sure of sticky but u will need to keep the salinity dead on at this rate. so an ATO is almost a must. secondly temp needs to be a bit higher about 80-82 range and u will have to drip acclimate the fish to this new hypo salinity before adding then to a QT.
hypo is best done in a QT. leave fish in hypo for a month. here is Sk8r's post on hypo http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1991470
