Can a reef genius help me out

I have just setup a sump with chaeto and was wondering if my lights were going to promote algae on the cheato itself and choke it from doing it's job. Will I have to worry about this with this light theres 2 of these on the cheato http://genet.gelighting.com/LightPro...onal_PAR_PAR30

So I don't need any critters in sump? Cause I heard of people using too high of k and getting algae in sump thus needing crabs and snails thanks for replying too I really apreciate it

No you don't need any critters. The fuge is where you want algae to grow, the algae won't "choke" the chaeto from growing.

BTW it doesn't hurt to keep a few critters in the fuge, I have 2 snails and 2 dwarf hermits in mine.
