tunze 6215 with tunze 7096 help..
Ok, so i bought these new toys and i was up till 2am tinkering with it. I have a 150g with a 6105 and 6215 i opted for the 7096 controller instead for future add on. Ive read the manual for the box n pdf file for the controller. But no matter which mode i select i cant seem to get that wave motion. Anyone that has one and have dialed it in your advice is greatly appreciated.

For starters just unplug the 6105 so we can focus on the 6215. Now make sure controller cable for the Wavebox is plugged in to slot 3 or 4 on the controller. On the computer software check the Wavecontroller box and then click Start by Auto Adjust.
The controller will now begin cycling through various on/off timings. Carefully watch the water surface. As the controller tries different frequencies, it will eventually hit the correct one and create a wave. When this happens, click Stop on the software. Sometimes you click Stop a little too late, but that's okay because after stopping Auto Adjust you can fine tune the wave by clicking the Up/Down arrows next to the Seconds display. If you're unable to get a wave this way, please let me know and we can look at the 6215's placement within the tank. |
