JBJ Canister filter
Has anyone ever used a JBJ or similar canister filter on a Nano tank. I would like to turn the whole back half of my 28g nano cube into a fuge and would like to have a better filtration system at the same time.

about 2 weeks ago I put some GFO on my 60 gallon cube without properly washing it first and it made my tank look like a toxic dumping ground. I was going through two filter socks a day and it wasn't even making a dent. For the first time in my saltwater career I decided to give a canister filter a try - I got the nu-clear 530 and it had my tank cleaner and clearer than prior to the GFO incident. I've since plumbed it into my return system. This morning I pulled out my two eheim 1260's - one was my return and the other was powering the nu-clear canister filter. I replaced both with one ATB flowstar 1500.
I've read many conflicting stories about canister filters being nitrate factories, but I've seen several beautiful tanks that use canister filters...
