Talking Vinny's 90 gallon reef startup!

Hey everyone! Just joined the forum today! I just purchased a 90 gallon tank with stand from my lfs yesterday, and got it all situated where it's going to go in my living room. Got a few things left over from my last tank I had (46 bow front reef) that I'm gonna try and reuse. Any advice, comments or questions would be greatly appreciated! Great to be here and great to be back into the hobby!

Here's my plans for my sump/reactor set up. Sorry, I'm no artist. I'm gonna get a 30 gallon long for the sump. I'm gonna use the "bean-animal" overflow setup with the emergency going directly to the sump, the secondary hooked up to one 4" filter sock, and the main T'd so the left goes into another 4" filter sock and the right goes into another T and then there's two gate valves. One for the refugium and one for the reactor. The return pump will be in a center chamber fed by the skimmer and refugium. Is this a good setup? Any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Feed the fuge and reactors of the return and put some gate valves on them so u can dial them in to exact flow that u desire

Got some more work done on the tank! Got the holes drilled in the back for the bean animal overflow and return. Got my overflow box installed and the background in place. Thought I would throw in the pic of my cat in the tank. :P I've got a 30 gallon long that I found used for my sump and have it installed in the bottom of the stand for now. Hopefully I'll be able to get my protein skimmer on Friday!

The cat kept walking into the glass. It was entertaining to say the least.
