Calcium reactor recommendations needed

I've recently set up my 265 gal reef tank. I currently have a 10+ year old MRC duel stage reactor, that is shot. I'm really in need of some recommendations.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I would probably rebuild the MRC, mine is pushing the 10 year mark.

I would have preferred to rebuild, but it was dropped when we moved several years ago. It's glued, fiberglassed and melted together.

Anyone using the 6.5 Reef Octopus duel chamber reactor ?

If you are thinking Octo...go for the SRO 5000, it is a beast and designed properly.

The SRO is a skimmer though, I'm trying to decide on a calcium reactor. I have just ordered the SRO 3000 external.

Scroll to the bottom...

Or go to aquacave and you can see them as well.

No problem, SRO just means super reef octopus and is their best line, meant for more serious reefers. If I ever replace or outgrow my MRC I will probably go with the SRO, they got the design spot on. I don't think I would change a thing on it.

Don't mean to hijack, but which one of the 5000 would you do?

I would do this one...
http://coralvue.com/sro-cr5000/

But the dual one would be a good choice as well. The multi doesn't appeal to me, it tries to do too much. I have never really seen the need in a dual chamber but I do know some people have issues with PH and the second chamber can help with that.
