Skimmer issues
Im using an Aqua C skimmer(model 240) with a mag18 pump and up til about a week ago it was working fine. All of a sudden I can't seem to get the skim mate volume that I was early on. When I fire it up it looks like its gonna produce but after the set water level the large bubbles go away and the micro bubbles thin out. I removed the pump and cleaned it and the insides of the skimmer ...plug it in and no change. I've got. A 200g system lightly stocked with fish but heavy on coral. Any ideas? I called marine depot where I bought it and they couldn't give me an answer. I called Aquacave direct and am waiting a call back...but until that happens im looking for some answers here..thanks

Did you pull the injection nozzle out and make sure that nothing was blocking it? Also, is the air valve on the unit completely open and not clogged at all? I'd suggest removing that too and cleaning it out.
