Question Blue Fiddler Crabs

My LFS got in their shipment this week some blue fiddler crabs and before I buy one I was looking for some advice on whether to buy one or not.

From what I have read online they need to have some part of their habitat come out of the water. This I can live with. My big concern is are they reef safe though? Does anyone have any experience with these?

I would say not reef safe and yes they need dry land to climb on.
