I would be concerned about antifungal plastics and treatments that may have leached into the tank, these are common associates in terrarium/herp decor
Cleaned well, id place money the tank could be used for reef. Set it up with a caulastrea colony, some snails and a Lysmata cleaner. If they make it two weeks you are good to go |

Most terrariums are to thin of glass to hold water to the rim. I had one and had the same idea but it even had a sticker that said do not fill with water.

If it started as an actual aquarium that has been used for other things, it can be rinsed well (tap water) and used. If it truly is a reptile tank, it IS NOT SAFE to use as an aquarium. It will fail, probably catastrophically. Anyone or anything near will be in grave danger from glass shards, not to mention the water! Please be certain of what type tank it is.

I'd be worried about it not holding water all the way to the top. As well as any non-reef-safe chemicals.
Not worth trying to save 10$ |

If it is intended for reptiles do not fill with water for reasons stated above. You can however put some water in them... say to build a suitable home for a turtle. I personally would not fill one more than about 6 inches.
