Rapidled has some decent little setups that will work and I am sure there are others as well. For the price and the budget, the Chinese Black Boxes would be a better option.

Ebay also has these pop up for fairly cheap.

hate to say but I also did the Odyssea or however you spell it 48" T5 over my old 75 could only keep softies worked ok though. only had that take up a year so no major problems with that. Upgraded to a 135 with MH 2 250 watt and 4T5 can keep anything. I just purchased 2 14k LED from aquariumleds.com for just over $300 shipped probably buy one more but I wanted to see if I am going to like the LED vs MH. Hopefully I will and then my MH and T5's will be forsale. goodluck it's a lot of research but from reading what all these guys that have been doing this along time it's trial and error. Good Luck

So where can you find the LED setups for 600? Does anyone have a link?

Search eBay, or alibaba. Type in "aquarium led" and they can be found as cheap (from what I've seen) as $150 when ordering several, to an avgerage price of about $200 give or take. They're pretty much the same LED "china boxes" that other companies sell (boostled, OC reef, etc...). Except the U.S. companies spray paint their name on em and I'm pretty sure it's MUCH easier to handle a warranty issue when purchasing from a company that's located in the U.S. With the china companies, if there is a warranty issue, they'll opt to send parts so you can fix it yourself. Since I can solder, repairing a fixture bought from china is no big deal for me. But for others it might be.

And don't let anyone tell you different! Those fixtures that have 120, 1 watt LEDs are capable of growing almost anything. I've seen clams and acros under them and everything was fine. Some people on here like to say 1 watt LEDs can't gro anything. Maybe they had a bad experience, or maybe they're like several others on here who read a couple of threads and all of a sudden feel they can comment and recommend things with no personal experience.
