Cooling My Tank
I have a Tru vu 29H tank. I am going to build a wooden canopy to go over it. The light is a 250W metal halide and 4x24 watt t5s. I can almost guarantee that my tank is going to heaat up. What cheap easy DIY cooling system do you suggest? I will probably get a fan for the sump but for inside the canopie what should i do?

i built my chiller out of a small dorm frig CL 45.00 .. i drilled a hold in one side and drilled another on the other .. bought a rubber hose 9.99 walmart and coiled it inside the frig .. ran a pump from sump to frig back into sump .. run it about 2 hours a day cools the tank but since i got LEDs last month its not running hot anymore ..

A fan can make a huge difference but will greatly increase evaporation. Some people will put a frozen bottle of water in sump to help on hot days.
