ATI Sunpower Question

I am new to this fixture and I just set up my 125 and have been having alot of issues in general with my tank...been tweeking it all day long.

I turned my lights on over the tank for the first time and had the lights on for about 15 minutes with out the fans on and 2 at a time they started shutting off. First 2 of them. So I unplugged and then plugged back in and they came back on. Then 2 others.

Thats when I noticed I did not have the fans on so I plugged them in and since then they have not shut off. Is there a controller in the sunpower that shuts them off if they get hot??

Yes, there's a thermal shutdown if the temp gets too hot with the dimmable Sunpower

No, not the dimmable, just the regular sunpower

Hmmm, I don't know.

Never had that happen to my sunpower. Why would you run without fans?

Was just an accident, forgot to plug it in. They will be on timers soon. I spoke to Reefgeek (maria) and she said that will happen if the fans are not running........she did not seem to convincing though
