Problem with Hydor Evo Korilia...Fixed
I just had to post to relay a recent experience I had. I bought 2-750 Korilia's about 2 months ago. I had them hooked to a wavemaker and both worked fine for the first few weeks. Then, as expected, they began to start up in reverse about 50% of the time. This was not a big surprise to me, as I was forwarned about the issue here at RC. So, I just run them all the time without the wavemaker. No big deal, someday I will buy a mp-10. But to the point, I went to open the front grate to clean one of them and the little catch that hold the cover on, broke off. Ok, now I'm a little PO'd. So, just for the heck of it, I emailed Hydor and explained the problem. Much to my surprise, they sent me 4 new front grills and 2 impeller shafts...all for free! Needless to say, I am very impressed with their customer service. Kudos to them! So, if anyone else is having problems with theirs, it doesn't cost anything to email them, maybe you'll get the same service I got.
Happy Reefing!!

I had both my 750 covers break too. The little bumper broke off after being on a wavemaker for a month. They sent me new covers and they've been working fine since. Definitely great customer service.
Neither my 1050 or my 1400 broke, so maybe it's just something with the 750s.
