+1 on boiling water directed with a syringe. 2 quick shots of about 8ml of boiling hot RO/DI water, killed 4 aiptasia. Fortunately, they were all away from any livestock. I have 1 tiny one that is right in the midst of a zoa colony. Not sure how to deal with this one, and not affecting the zoas. Thoughts?

I mix up a tablespoon of pickling lime into a 1/3 cup water. Suck up the slurry with a fat syringe and squirt it heavily right at the aiptasia. Never had a single one come back. The pH and calcium addition is just a bonus.

Pepermint shrimp will clean a tank in notime flat, just remove if you have concerns as they have been know to pick corals.
