EShopps HOB 75 Foam Problem

My EShopps HOB 75 is producing so much "dry" foam that it comes out of the collection cup vent holes and runs down the outside of the cup well before it drops past the collection cone and into the cup its self. The foam is dry and I run a dry skim. I can clean it at 0600 and at 1400 I have dry green foam on the wall, cap and floor with very little "wet" skim in the bottom of the collection cup.

At this point I have tried various settings on the skimmer and unless I turn it almost off, the foam will exit the cap before it settles in the cup. What "Harm" would come if I plugged the holes?

Otherwise I need a suggestion on a skimmer that will work in a Trigger System 30 Ruby Sump that won't drain the bank account.

Thanks
