Aquamedic doser problem

I have the Aquamedic triple doser pump and am having a small issue. Pump #1 is forcing the tubing out when it is on, ie when the pump is on, then tube migrates towards the clear covering until it is out. Have anyone had this issue before? Any suggestions as to how to fix it? I have tried greasing the tubing and ungreasing the tubing. That is about it.

Yep I sure have had this problem, is the tube old as it would seem as the plastic tubes harden off with age this happens. I actually replaced a tube in a doser when I put a new sensor in thinking it would be an improvment. Thing was it was off my old doser an was very old. The result was the tube had got harder with age and did exactly what you are saying.

The only other thing it can be is the cams are worn. You can get replacments for these just like the tubes. I would tend to try a new tube first and then if that doesn't work put in new cams.

I just checked the tube, and it is a little hard, but pliable. I will look into getting new tubing.

I didn't know the replacement tubing was $25.

Thanks.
