Hey guys was pokin around on the net and found a wholesale company called Eshine led. They are using 4g cree led supposedly cree are the top LED. You have to send them an email to comunicate so the recommended 3 60 watt fixtures housing 12 xpg r5 oa and 12 xpe d3 16 colored 3 watt led comes with dimmers as well for 153 USD eac they hava 3 year warranty on the fixtures cant find much on you tube about them just wondering your guys opinions. The pricing is a huge plus for me and they look like very nice units. Oh and im lighting a 90 gal tank

I've had these lights for about 4 months now and have no complaints! BUT I have never had any other type of lighting to compare them to since this is my first tank and I also don't have any SPS yet. My LPS, softies and clams are very happy though. And as for the customer service and prompt delivery I give an A+. I talked with Rory. GL

I've had good luck with e.shine. I also know of 20 other reefers in my area, who have them, and are very happy. I have a post (#9) on this thread:

I have their 48x3 CREE w/ Solar Controller over a 75g. I think it's a great light, very bright. Actually, just picked up another unit from a fellow reefer to use when I upgrade this tank to a 90g.
My camera sucks for LED pics, but this is best shot I can get showing how bright the whites are. Here is a shot of it @ only 10% white/30% blue. Disregard the blue light in bottom left, that is an old trulumen strip. |
