New Lee-Mar 330 gal tank with hole in front starfire panel

So I just bought a new starfire flat polished diamond edge tank from LeeMar. When it arrived, I inspected it closely, and all seemed well. After filling with water and setting up lights, a internal fisure in the glass is evident. It is about the size of a bb. It glows bright from the lights too.

I called them and told them of the issue, and apparently the situation Im facing is common. They said I could return the tank to the lfs and have it shipped to CA and a new panel would be installed. Seems horrible as I just set up everything and would have no place to store live rock and other life.

What would you do? Is it safe to keep filled?

Ship it back. It will always remind you that you should have done that if you keep it.

I'd send it back.
It's probably going to be a huge pita, but better safe than sorry.

As much as it would suck, I would have to send it back. For me, the one thing that would suck even worse is spending what you have likely spent on your setup, only to fixate your attention on this one flaw in the tank. I know that would drive me nuts...
