Missing Pink Carnation Coral

I bought this coral today at BSL. It had 3 heads on it. I split them up and put one in my 3 gal and the other 2 in my 35 gal. The ones in the 35 gallon are missing!! I suspect my Caribbean Pistol Shrimp made off with them. He quite possible buried them or they may be in the little rubble fortress he has built. Darn shrimp. But I have to admit he is beautifully colored and has lots of personality!!

My Randall pistol moves some of my corals from time to time. They are fun to watch.

CORAL THIEF!
I do know those carnations can shrivel to tiny little stubs when stressed. When I first placed then in too bright a light I had to almost squint to see a few of them.

I put him totally under an overhang and the lights were off when I put him under there. Maybe I will find the coral when I break this tank down to set up my new one. My son is coming from Memphis weekend after next to help with the plumbing from the tank to the sump.
