Help setting up GEO calcium reactor

So I have this GEO Calcium Carbonate Reactor and i need help figuring out a few of its problems. First the top leaks and i need help in fixing its leaking. Second there is a hole in the thing that connects to the co2 container. I think it is supposed to be there but i dont know why and how to make it stop letting co2 escape. Any suggestions or hints to how to set this thing up would be a great help.
