snowflake eel, hummu trigger, porcupine puffer
So im planning on starting up my first real tank of any real size(75gal). I've picked out the fish i'm planning on getting which are in the title. I know that two of the fish the eel and the trigger can be territorial so im wondering what is the best order to introduce each fish to the aquarium. I've done lots of reaserch and no one seems to have any info to help me. Any and all information is appreciated and give me any info which you think could help me. Thanks in advance.

Put the puffer in first then add the other two. You do realize that those fish all get pretty big and will need something larger eventually. Especially the puffer. The trigger grows slowly and will be fine for a long time. The eel will get pretty big and its debatable whether you can keep it for its lifetime in a 75g tank.
If it were me, I would get a different species of puffer. Look into the toby species that stay in the 3-4 inch range instead of the porc. |

Ok. I've been getting mixed information on the tank size for these fish. I'm fine with not getting the porcupine puffer. Do you know any triggers that could live fine in a 75 gallon tank? Also what about a green spotted puffer?

A picasso or Bursa Triggerfish would be ok in the 75. If you want a puffer for the 75 toby puffers would work well.

I think the eel and the picaso would be fine for a while in the 75. Porky's grow fast. He will run out of room in the 75 pretty quick.
Be careful with the eel though. They are jumpers, and need to be fed often! A sealed top is important with an eel. Plenty of food is also a must so that he does not start looking at the other fish as potential snacks! I have a full grown snowflake moray. Very cool. Always sparks conversation, but he is fed a lot. Just yesterday I fed the tank and he missed his food and bit into my Blue Hippo Tang. He started to bring the tang down before he realized that the tang was oo big to eat. The hippo was fine, but man I got worried for a moment. It is the risk you take having an eel. I cant say enough though about the top. He needs to be enclosed or he will jump.

In the two setups i have had there has always been a snowflake. IME the snowflake has been very docile towards fish in the tank. Even good with shrimp as long as the shrimp is introduced first. But if you do ever redo your aquascape all bets are off, shrimp lasted two days after I moved last year. As for the frequency of feeding the eel, I have had great success with a once every three days feeding routine. Feed too often and it can have negative effects in the long run.

Look into a Blue Spotted Puffer, they would be better suited for a 75 and are really cool looking.
