Cool Deep sand bed questions in 15 gallon

Hi,
Im new to saltwater aquariums and to reef central but just recently I've setup a 15 gallon high tank that I had from years ago. Anyways, I wanted to do a deep sand bed and so I used about 30lbs of aragonite sand (sugar fine) (dry not live)
The tank is 10"W x 18"L x 24"H. The sand bed measures to be around 4"s. Is this enough for it to work properly? or do I need more sand? If so should I add another 1" or 2" of live sand on top? I've been reading many different thoughts on DSBs.
The tank has about 18lbs or so of dry rock. I've also added some crushed coral bits here and there in some areas on top layer of sand for look. Good or bad idea?
I also have a turbo snail and two nassarius snails are these good for a DSB?
What clean-up crew members would be ideal?

Thanks in advance for any help
