What is a safe way to clean an empty tank?
I am sure using windex is a bad idea, can someone tell me a safe way to just wipe it down?

Is this a new tank? If so just rinse it with water. Old tank with encrusted coraline? Soak in hot water and white vinegar for a few hours or overnight to loosen gunk. Wipe down with nonabrasive sponge then rinse.

I used a 50/50 mix of water and bleach. Then rinsed a few times with just vinegar followed with a few more rinses of just water.

Distilled white vinegar and water. Wash it out, rinse it out, air it out.
You'll be good to go.
