Help! Female anthias fighting
I put two female anthias in my qt and now they are fighting w jaws locked w each other. I thought they were peaceful. What should I do?

Separate them; giving one away or trading at the LFS could be the best solution.

Anthias is a schooling fish it is usually not good to have them in pairs. The dominant females job is to become the male and pick on the others so that they stay female. They should be kept is groups of 5 or more so that the dominant female doesn't just beat the other to death.

I had the same issue before. I won one in a raffle and it was fighting with all my fish. I recommend getting credit at your local fish store like I did or get more so they are in a school.
