advice on Red Slime Remover

When you add Ultralife Red Slime Remover to your tank, it is yellow at first.
Does it mean anything if the yellow is gone in just a few minutes?
There is nothing about this on the manufacturers website or anywhere else I have looked?

Does it mean it all reacted and is no longer working?

Just siphon it off with airline tubing or a turkey baster. So much easier and safer.

This treatment will help with the Cyano, but if you don't deal with the underlying cause (usually excess nutrients) it will just return. You skimmer will go nuts for a while too.

I hope you have a good skimmer. Be sure it is well-tuned and Follow Instructions to a tee. I would NOT advise this product for beginners.
