I've asked this in a different thread but didn't get much of a response.
I can have it shipped to my work, but then I would have to rush home and get it acclimated unless I wanted to leave it in the bag all day. Which probably wouldn't be a good idea. What does everyone do when their livestock gets delivered? Do you leave work early or take a vacation day? I have an hour lunch, but it travel home burns about 20 minutes. |

I had 2 sexy shrimp delivered at 10 yesterday...they sat in the box until I got home at 430. I figure, they made the trip from Florida to NC, another 6-8 hrs shouldn't hurt - especially since it's not hot out and they were kept inside in the apt. office. They were just fine

I have ordered online many times, but I work from home several days a week. So I just make sure that I'm getting the deliveries on those days. Do you have a neighbor who would sign for the box and just bring it into his/her house unopened for you so at least it is protected from the elements?
