AI sol mounting legs
I've noticed the mounting legs to these fixtures for the rails allow the fixtures to be just barely above the surface of the water. Is there anything else anyone thought of doing to mount these fixtures to the tank to be higher or is this not a problem being so low? I would assume they would get a lot of salt spray.

I know this is an old thread, but what did you end up doing?

FWIW, I ended up hanging mine from the ceiling. Beyond the height problem, the feet on them only have a lip on one side (or at least my set did), so they're practically designed to dump your rig into the tank.

I hung mine too. I would've never felt comfortable having them sit so low.
