Question Achelies tang in quarantine may have ich

Hes trying to rub on the bottom glass. Sits in front of the powerheads. Can I dip him? If so, for how long?

Do you see the ich? If he is in quarantine then you should treat him in the tank, preferably with copper or hypo-salinity. There is no reason to dip him.

I dont see anything, but something is driving him nuts. He's eating nori and Spirulina brine.

I would just treat him in the QT like I mentioned above, if he's eating then he should be fine.

1.009 but drop it slowly over 3-4 days.

They don't feel the need to keep replacing the sponge filter like the original poster. I'm no expert. Just been reading up on ICH treatments since I'm going through the same thing. So many opinions/techniques... Sigh.
